What Our Community Is Saying

What Our Community Is Saying

The only way I can describe it, is that it is a gift to be a part of these children’s lives, and it is incredibly fulfilling to help them overcome challenges and be there to celebrate their successes.

Renee Lacroix
Educational Assistant, Chapel Hill Elementary School

My experience working at the Ottawa Catholic School Board has been incredibly fulfilling, as it provides a supportive, collaborative environment where I am able to grow professionally while making a meaningful impact on the lives of students and the broader community.

Sandy Fontaine
Resource Teacher, St. Brother André Elementary School

The OCSB has cultivated a welcoming and inclusive environment where staff are encouraged to bring their authentic selves to work. The Board’s commitment to EDI, particularly in advocating for marginalized communities like 2SLGBTQ+ students and staff, reflects its dedication to creating a safe and supportive space for all. Additionally, the camaraderie among colleagues—sharing challenges, laughter, and professional growth—has strengthened my sense of belonging.

Tanya Noble-Moore
Vice-Principal, St. Francis Xavier High School

Patrick Gauthier
Teacher, St. Paul High School
