A Chance to Give at the OCSB

We are inviting our entire parent/guardian community to join our OCSB workplace community in fighting poverty for children in our schools. Your generous donation will be directed to the Catholic Education Foundation of Ottawa which works to help OCSB children and their families who are struggling with the effects of poverty. These children are in every school in every part of Ottawa. This foundation provides emergency assistance to families in crisis situations, getting help to families within 24 hours of the initial request. The assistance includes funds for things like food and clothing, medical supplies, transportation, and other financial needs.

Let's fight poverty together… today.

Donate Now

Donate now using SchoolCashOnline. You do not need an account to donate.

This fundraiser will be contributed towards our annual OCSB United Way Ottawa Campaign, which has helped us raise over $3 million the past 10 years for the Catholic Education Foundation of Ottawa (CEFO), and over $5 million for other local causes.

Directing your workplace donation to CEFO

If you already support the United Way through your employer, you may wish to direct your contributions to the Catholic Education Foundation of Ottawa (CEFO). To direct your donation (or a portion of it) to CEFO, simply record the charitable registration number 89003 6122 RR0001 on your United Way pledge form. Please note that a minimum gift of $26 is required in order to direct your funds to a charitable organization like CEFO.

The United Way Ottawa directly benefits young people in our community with emphasis on homework clubs, counselling programs and healthy lifestyle promotion. United Way Ottawa works in consultation with various organizations within the community to identify any gaps in services and neighbourhoods in need. Improved contributions by organizations like the OCSB means programs can be enhanced to help a greater number of the people in the community.
