Catholic Education Week 2017 – May 6 to 11, 2018

Catholic Education Week is an opportunity to celebrate the uniqueness of our Catholic schools. More than 600,000 students in over 1,500 Catholic schools across Ontario take part in this special week to celebrate the distinctive contribution their schools make in the lives of our students and the community. Our community participates in planned special activities at all grade levels and in all schools. Everyone is welcome to join us in events taking place throughout the week.

Tuesday, May 8 – Mass and award ceremony

The Ottawa Catholic School Board community will gather for Eucharist on Tuesday, May 8 for our Catholic Education Week Mass at the Notre Dame Cathedral. After the mass, our annual Director of Education Commendation Awards will be presented to well-deserving OCSB employees who have been recognized as role models. We are truly fortunate to have these amazing people who are devoted to service in Catholic Education.
