EQAO achievement scores
Focusing on improvementBoard and school improvement plans are developed with special attention to literacy and mathematics. We are taking a multi-faceted approach to improving scores in numeracy. We have a strong focus on pedagogy (how we teach and learn), on curriculum, and on how students can apply what they have learned. As we implement the province’s renewed math strategy and build on our literacy gains, we continue professional development for our dedicated educators. New this year will be up to three trained Math mentors in each elementary school.
EQAO achievements results for 2015-2016The Board wide EQAO results demonstrate a consistent increasing trend in grade 3 reading and strong, steady trends in grade 3 writing and both reading and writing in grade 6.
